Default orca 17.5 tx gearing and timing help

Need a lot more information. What car? What class? Blinky or boosted? Track size? Track type? Flowing or technical? Carpet or asphalt? Etc...

track is 50x30meters approximately. asphalt flowing track. i run blinky mode. car is BD714 for 17.5 and tamiya 417x for 13.5. both esc and motor are ORCA Vx ver. 3.0 for tamiya and ORCA vxx ver.3.3 for BD7.

for the orca 17.5 set the timing 2mm past the max mark on the can and gear it 3.7-4.0 depending on track size and motor temps thats what i run on my bd7

50x30 is big. I was running 3.8 and 2mm past the last timing on a technical carpet track. For that big a track, I'd try 3.4 or so.

Yeah. its a pretty big track. I was running 3.68-3.76 before when i was using sp reventon pro and LRP x12. I'm new to orca products so i need some help for the setup. thanks for the advice.
