Default Blistering Tires

Heya Ppl.

Ok being new to onroad, i have one question for everyone.

I have been running my 415 on Carpet and Ashphalt and the car is quite good.

But i am finding my tires blister a bit after a few runs, is this normal? Is there anything i can do to stop it???

I am not running excessive camber (1 degree) and nothing else really seems wrong.

Any help would be great!

two questions, what tyres are you running, could be the compound is too soft. Also whats your driving style like, do you like the car to slide? or keep it smooth?
To be honest, tyres graining is quite hard to stop, I just grin and bear it. (Outdoor work tends to knacker them the easiest)

Regards
Ed

maybe the tires are too soft (low temp rating) or the inserts are too soft or thin. in other words, try harder tires/inserts

Heya Guys.

Yeah i am an offroad guy to start with, i am starting to think i may be a little aggressive with the car.

Currently i have been running Take Off CS27's with medium inserts in preperation for a major meeting in 8 weeks or so. Mind you the temps here have been around 17-20degrees air temp and track temps not much more!

I guess i better get used to it!

Thats just how rubbers wear, asphalt especially, rolls and tears the rubber off the surface of the tyre, dont be allarmed.

Also try different traction compounds, some will cause the tire to cook faster than others on different surfaces, they need to rename rubber racing chemical racing, the fastest compound wins.

Try setting the car up to have more grip, if the car is loose the tires will also wear faster.
