Im looking forward to seeing the car in better detail, but I'm still a little disappointed about the aluminum chassis.

On another note, the 1st post should be updated with various aftermarket options as well as 3rd party options that fit this new S411. It would make it easier for people new to the brand to quickly see what options are available.

Why start a new 411 thread as the 3.0 is already being discussed there since last week? Personally it should be left in the original s411 thread as it's a progression of the S411 series of cars and previous posts and knowledge still count. After all it is not a new platform! The aluminium chassis is a change to go with the current trend. I'm sure that there will be a CF chassis option going forwards.

Can we keep s411 discussions here please: http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...-s411-432.html

I agree with Adam. Too many differences and the Setups won't carry over from 2.0 to 3.0.

This thread is a waste of time. Why do you guys feel the need to start new threads all the time? The original thread is such a great source of information and IMO there is not enough major changes to the tourer to justify this thread.

No there isn't. It is a progression from the 2.0 it is not a new platform!

+1 for a new thread, if you don't like it stay in the S411 thread, a handful of posters shouldn't be decided for the majority

Exactly why a new thread is not needed! It's not like they have changed the s411 tag or ERXY for that matter.

I think we need a new thread to argue whether or not we need a new thread.

Will that be the forum to inform the forum people that creating extra forums leads to less information to be reviewed on that forum when in fact some questions that have already been answered on a forum are lost and hidden in a sub committees(to be later known as the forum forum) hand so that you wont know where to look on which forum untill your informed

sound like a seen from yes primeminister

Default from yes prime minister

It is characteristic of all committee discussions and decisions that every member has a vivid recollection of them, and that every member's recollection of them differs violently from every other member's recollection; consequently we accept the convention that the official decisions are those and only those which have been officially recorded in the minutes by the officials; from which it emerges with elegant inevitability, that any decision which has been officially reached would have been officially recorded in the minutes by the officials, and any decisions which is not recorded in the minutes by the officials has not been officially reached, even if one or more members believe they can recollect it; so in this particular case, if the decision would have been officially reached, it would have been recorded in the minutes by the officials and it isn't so it wasn't."
just put this in for you Englishmen

Default 3.0 setup sheet.

Not sure where to post this..........but, the 3.0 setup sheet has been posted on the Serpent site.

The only thing is, its still very similar to the old setup sheet, so many of the tuning options are still not listed on it.

Really wish they would fix it up as there are so many things that get missed if they aren't on the sheet.
