interesting... my heritage. But I love how slippery it is and the balance. does lack that initial front bite so many love. Trying the mazda 6 and speed in the next race. But will have the trusty alfa with me.

I see Parma has a lot of bodies based off this alfa. How do they run comparative tot he mazda.

YELL it form the HILL TOPS. TQ and win. Old 3.0 came thru this weekend.

interesting point.
Both TQ and top racer at Full Throttle track clipped a board which took them out. Same 17.5 and 13.5. I clipped the same board with my Serpent and kept on trucking. My servo saver was a bit twisted. But both other cars were down and out. Snapped arms, C-hubs, etc. but that serpent is soooooo much more durable. Worth every penny!

Those that have tried the 4.0 outdoors on asphalt, how does it handle?

let me know what you find.

I have two more state series races which I'll finish with the 3.0 as I test bodies and aero. Then will switch and practice the 4.0 getting ready for the paved TC nationals in FLA. Debating if I run the 21.5 or 17.5 class. Or both!

I run the 4.0 now for 6 runs on Asphalt.
Car is good at low to med grip. Not tested yet on high grip!
I drive 13.5 blinky. Did some test laps at the Mach Heemstede track. Car went good!
Kept setup. Shocks are a very good improvement compared with the 3.0!
Also it is possible to drive the Xray diff if you want. But the 3.0 diff is also good after you put some work to it. But that is ok.

Considering getting a used Eryx 3.0 to run Mod with on our permanent asphalt track in Northwood Ohio.

Anyone who has run this car Mod on asphalt, is it a decent car for mod power? Is there anything I need upgrade to handle mod?

Thanks.

The S411 is great in mod. I actually have 2 Eryx 3.0 cars for sale on rctech. One built roller and one new in box. The roller only has 4 runs on it. PM me if you would like more info.

Yes. You may have to put a small relief under one part of the motor mount, but all the screws line up with no issues.
