I'm looking for a local ( Northern Virginia ) or online vendor to buy some carbon fibre sheets to make some of my own car chassis/parts/etc....

I'm sure some one has this info..

THX in advance....

kcinc.com . Its called kinetic composites . This is where most ofthe rc carbon fiber comes from . Check aroundtheir site , they offer all the cool colors , and they even offer cnc machine cutting on anything you can design . Good luck

kinetic composites is definately a good choice.they are kinda backed up right now and there is a pretty long wait.if you need to get a few small pieces for a prototype you will be better off trying penguin because KCI has a minimum order that will need to be met and i believe they are backed up until october or something like that.either way,you cant go wrong.
