Default latrax rally problems!!

i have a latraxx rally 1/18 scale and i was cleaning it out etc. put it back together ran it then i heard a bunch of clicking, took it all apart and checked everything make sure nothing was broken.. didnt see anything.?? confused!!

It's probably either the front or rear pinion going to one of the diffs that is stripped. I have stripped quite a few of them.

good info!! i will check that out, do you know if any one makes metal pinions??

I had a similar issue. I just CA glued the diff to make it a solid diff.

Amain sells the diff gears for about 5 bucks.

Actually latrax just came out with the Teton truck. It has all metal gears instead of the plastic. It's the same chassis so I would assume they should fit right in the ralley.

thanks for all the info folks! so as for now i am currently making it a fwd untill i can get some aluminum parts!! wish me luck!!
