Default Is this motor ROAR approved?

I was recently thinking of trying this motor out http://www.fantomracing.com/catalog/...hp?prod_id=389 but I dont know if it is ROAR approved. Does anyone know if it is or not? And are there any other stock motors with the new endbell and is ROAr approved?

Not according to ROARs website. Good luck getting any power out of a round brush stocker though.

the cans are, but the endbells are not... the cans look like a mosnter stock or an epic.. if i read it right, they replaced the og endbell with the new style... if you track follows roar rules, it isnt legal..

legal stock motors, have to be run as they are from the manufacturer, not the builder... and there has to be a certain amount in circulation to make them legal.. then they have to send a few to roar, and some money,, then the get a chance at being approved..

Not legal, does that mean the new endballs are illegal on the mod's as well. the reason I ask is the ROAR State Championship is coming up.

Nope- it is not approved. The motor has been modified with the V2 endbell.

That motor is not legal in any class, even modified.....Modified has to use LEGAL approved tear downs....a monster stock with a different companies endbell does not pass the test.

It's good only for practice, club races , and local races with loose motor rules....
