I am having major problems with duration on my Xray t1, i am not sure if its the speedo or the car. I dont think its the car as its very very free but my speedo is a vega digital speedo and i think it cud be this. Has anyone else ever used this speedo? What speedo does everyone else use? I am possibly going to get a LRP Quantum pro or a nosram dominator what does everyone think of these? Thanks Rick

I've never tried a Vega (and don't know anyone who has) but I have a Quantum and it is nice and small but people have blown them up and my set-up buttons are very tempramental
The Keyence Zero V Extreme seems to be the pick of the current speedos. You can get them from the schumacher site for about 160, only a bit more than a Quantum

i'm using the keyence zero V extreme esc.it has been working veri gd for mi with no problem at all.
i like the digitial display,n u can change the setting on the esc jus by using the controls on the esc such as the frequency, power limit etc...

it is slightly bigger than the quantuam, but dun think so u will have any problem mounting it.

unless they bought out something new its called the xc. its nice and small and highly adjustable. but thats the problem you can get lost in the setup easily and forget about adjusting it if you dont have your instructions. i like the novak tc2 with the pitwizard but its a bit big. the most advanced esc i think is the ko propo vfs 2000. with the adapter you can change the drive frequency for each of the 32 throttle positions. and its patented so you wont see it on anything else.

What is difference between these two:

a) V12 Worlds Edition

b) V12XC World Champion Edition

They are the same price. Difference ???

Also, which one you guys like better -- the GM V12 or the LRP Quantum ? Why ?

They are about the same price. I have a LRP IPC/SR - not really crazy about it.

Thanks.

Wow, that's interesting.

Around here, you won't find hardly ANY gm's. Pretty much everyone is running either Novak Cyclones or Quantum Competitions.

I'm running the Quantum and LOVING it. It's light, smooth and powerful. It works perfectly in my Pro10 car.

Kraig:as for the motor running after you shut the GT-7 off.I personally have not had that problem. P.S were did you get that pick of the hyperdrive 12th scale. Is it still made? I wouldnt mind trying one.

Brian,

Actually what I was referring to was when you first turn on the speed control the motor will run just a little, kind of like you blipped the throttle. Guess it is one way to know if you soldered your motor up correctly.

As for the Hyperdrive car I think it is still being made. That picture and the 12M picture where taken at the Snowbirds. Here is Hyperdrive's website address, http://hyperdriveracing.com/

Kraig - I know what you mean, Cyclone blips it just enough to spin the tires when you turn it on.

It can be dangerous... The TQ blue flies off the tires into my eyes. Yeah, That hurt. :P
