Exclamation Carbon shafts

Mike,
does that mean you're going to be making some carbon shafts in the near future?
Inquiring minds want to know!

Mike, why are you only running one screw on the gearbox input bearing location? I see you did that front and rear.

Thanks Guys!

If they hold up we will indeed have CF drive shafts

For the gear case I only tighten 1 of the 2 screws over the input bearings to keep the bearings from getting bound up so I figured might as well just use 1 screw to make diff maintenance a little easier haha.

See how I ground down the outter front shock tower to better clear the Furai body?

New short carbon fiber shock towers for the use of TRF419x super short shocks are now available.

I can see where you ground the towers, but not how much. Need a shot form the front.

Those front towers look like they are considerably lower than stock, but the cost of the towers and the shocks just isn't worth it IMO. The car handles pretty good as is.

Could somebody share me Exosix setup in carpet race or even from IIC, please?

Best regards

Hi Guys,

I am tempted to try an EVO6 MS and a bit confused with the Exo6 conversion kit.

Is the Exo 6 conversion kit needed with an EVO 6 MS and most importantly would that fit the Evo6 MS ?

thanks,
Raph

All the conversion does is give the car an inline motor instead of transverse. As far as I know, the exo conversion fits the MS as well.

Here was my Amain run with the E6 at the CenCal Challenge.... silver/yellow starting from 7th. All I have to say about my first few laps is Mighty Gripper!

It absolutely fits the MS, I just did a new build converting my MS a few weeks ago. I've been lurking for a while, getting back into touring cars since I raced TC3s in the early 00s. Kit installed great Mike, I'll post up some pics when I have sufficient posts to do so.

The camera person did a pretty good job of trying to avoid filming your action. Focusing on the top 3 when you were 4th, then switching to the battle for 4th when you moved up to 3rd. When you and Josh were battling for 1st, the camera was pointing in the wrong direction.
