Carbon shafts
Back with good results from the weekends CenCal Challenge. USGT was by far the biggest class of the 3 day race and the EXO-SIX represented well!
Had to work from way back in the field (blew a motor in qualifying, cost me a better grid spot) but was able to pick off some very fast cars 1 by 1 and ended up 2nd place and less than 1 second behind first. Have only ran this USGT car at 2 events this year but really loving the drive train and Tamiya handling!
Notes;
Prototype flexy top plate for extra grip on the bumpy asphalt track.
Exotek spool used.
Prototype carbon drive shaft.
Off the shelf (Hobbytown) R1 v11
Exotek C-hubs

does that mean you're going to be making some carbon shafts in the near future?
Inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks Guys!
If they hold up we will indeed have CF drive shafts
For the gear case I only tighten 1 of the 2 screws over the input bearings to keep the bearings from getting bound up so I figured might as well just use 1 screw to make diff maintenance a little easier haha.
See how I ground down the outter front shock tower to better clear the Furai body?

It absolutely fits the MS, I just did a new build converting my MS a few weeks ago. I've been lurking for a while, getting back into touring cars since I raced TC3s in the early 00s. Kit installed great Mike, I'll post up some pics when I have sufficient posts to do so.
