...hummm, making me think twice. I am sure it will look something like the older EVO's. I hope.

I remember my tb evo 1 just had plastic gearboxes. Hopefully the drive train will be housed in aluminium bulkheads. I imagine it means the drive train is the same as the TB04, hopefully not the actual plastic gearboxes.

Me too... we'll just have to wait and see what the EVO will look like regarding the gearboxes. I hope they will look the same as the EVO 5....

Floating servo mount looks just like a TRF503 one (refereed obviously)

Exhibit A

From that cad drawing, it appears to have the tb04 plastic bulkheads (probably cf reinforced plastic). However everything else seems trf spec.

I'm going to assume that this kit will have a lower price than the trf418 due to the plastic bulkheads

Knowing how Tamiya is, I doubt they will be carbon or plastic bulkheads. I bet they will be more blue bling because they can make more money off of selling that as an upgrade to the TB04 people. Oh wait if they use plastic or carbon I guess they just sell this as an option part for $100 a pair to both the TB04 and EVO 6.

It looks like the Yokomo RS, all just plastic, Bäh ... also cheap ...
Purchase to reach to an acceptable limit. Madness what Tamiya will bring back for a rotten egg on the market, that`s not the progress for a worlds Team.

Again no Spirit only a poor imitation of already existing. I'm really disappointed that would never be an TB EVOLUTION

If the gear cases are plastic. Someone will definetly make some aluminum cases for sure. Personally plastic is fine for me. Won't make the car faster with aluminum.

WHAT??? It's the blue bling makes you go fast! Well, it makes screwing things in an out faster at least. So like I said; the blue bling is where Tamiya makes money, so don't worry it will be an optional part if it doesn't come with it.

Nope, but aluminium bulkheads will ensure perfect alignment, something which is harder to do with plastics.

It looks like this will be priced around the TA06ms price point looking at the spec, so cheaper than the TRF418 so it could go well.

shaft driven TRF 418, maybe. TB Evolution VI, not in my opinion.
