I brought a tt-01 rtr in hong kong… it was great, but I am having some troubles with it
1) do rc cars get really dirty after they run on the streets?
2) how can I clean it easily (without using lots of money)?
3) is there any harder body that I can use? After a few crashes, the body starts to break apart.
4) what option parts or spare parts should I buy next? Now I have ball bearings, aluminum shaft, and adjustable upper arm.

I could not control my car well and I crashed a few times. So I taped the body, do you think it’ll be good enough?

Which parts of the tt-01 is easy to break? is it normal the front upper arms keep falling out after it chashes on the sides?
What option parts should I buy next?

By the way, is there ant carbon fiber deck for tt-01?
or will it have one?

just drive slower until you get used to the car or find a really large open space with nothing to run into and drive there.

It depends on how dirty your streets are. In my area, i have to use a brush to get rid of big things that get stuck (like little rocks etc) and compress air to clean my car from the dust and very fine dirt.

You should goto your local hobby shop and talk to some of the people there. They should be able to offer you great help.

Give the car a little checkover after every run to check nothings fell off or broke.

To clean u can just use a brush or if you want just a rub with a damp cloth when u take the mucky parts out.

Good hop-ups for racing are aluminium front steering arms as the plastic ones break way too easy.

so far, the easiest part to break apart is the front adjustable upper arm. I know there are some aluminium arms but I am not sure those have 2 deg negative camber
I need to change the steering arms too because this one is in the way of something else, it just can't move freely

hey i use to have a tt-01 but now i swapped it to answer all your questions

1 yes it does get dirty after driving on the street with it
2 im pretty sure its common for the adjustable arms to get knocked loose after a hit.
3. there is a carbon fibre top plate
4. i think tamiya shells are the hardest around not to suure tho, one way you could stop the shell breaking is take it slow then once you dont hit anything speed it up a bit.
5. parts that break easily would be the front hubs thats all i no of.

I thought the steering arms are the easiest to break.
so there is no carbon fiber lower deck for tt-01 and the only one is Tamiya Bathtub Chassis TT-01, right?
I just want to know if there is any other harder chassis for it
by the way, what kind of tires should I get cuz this one is worning out?

I don't think there's a stiffer chassis or a carbon chassis out there. But the tamiya tub chassis is cheap to replace,if your thinks its out of shape.
As for tires,maybe you can go for any cheap tires in the market (maybe those premount kinds are good too)as you are not planning to race(Race tires are expensive).

The upper front camber link will loosen after a few runs.So as a precaution I drop a drop of CA glue aka super glue to the end of the camber links,so at least the glue will hold it in place during the race.

What you can get next probably is the aluminium steering.It will make your steering feel more direct,as the plastic one will flex slightly and makes the steering very sloppy.

I run a TT01 in my local Tamiya Stock class races too...

there is no carbon fibre lower deck only upper deck but as was said b4 if your steering set isnt doing to bad get the metal racing steering set it improves steering etc

yes its expensive but its really worth it your steering will be much smoother and stuff

i got most of my hop ups off ebay. i got the hop ups for like 1/2 the price from the shops etc.
