It has a current limiter , thats why they were using it at worlds...

can somebody explain what a current limiter does?
Any advantage to it for running Oval ?

A current limiter does exactly what the name implies, it limits the current going to the motor for easier throttle control, less wheelspin. Wouldn't be good for oval.

I see.

wouldnt that be the same as just raising the drive frequency from say 2.0hz to like 10.0hz

I know in oval stock guys use 1.5-2.0
19T 2.0-4.0 and Mod is usually 5.0 +
