The R1 Wurks has been working well on this side. They're fast, run cool and the rotors test high.

17.5 P/N R1-175-125-V7
13.5 P/N R1-135-125-V7
21.5 P/N R1-215-125-V7

The Team Powers motors are also quite good as well.

3.5 or TX are probably the best out there. No need to look until trinity releases something else

Because belt have more drag than shaft, eventhough they are lighter... Of course, a well built shaftdrive would include a Carbon Driveshaft, ceramic Bearings, lightened axles& input shafts, etc........

Lol well if the "shaft cars " were a little more club racing durable I would find out . But to replace a fleet of cars (4) I dont have $3k to make rhe swap and have all the.spair parts that I know will tweak and bend with a few good wrecks .
but I will say a D3.5 SHOULD still be faster in the said shaft car .... now to figure out the 2nd fastest choice for said shaft car......

The grapevine indicates that the following 17.5 motors could rise to the top once the D3.5 gets pulled:

* Team Scream
* R1 Wurks
* ORCA

And obviously we will need to see what the new Trinity motor looks like once it is released...

Did ROAR update their rule book yet? If not, look to the D4 to continue the legacy.
