The car felt GREAT in the corners.. if anything I had a bit too much traction but on the straight it seemed to "wander" a bit. Didn't always track the same. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make it track better at speed or what I may have adjusted wrong?

I had the same problem. In my case, it was too much play in the rear axle. I shimed out the play and centered the rear wheels.

I race stock and haven't experienced this problem, but I'm wondering if your issue is not related to chassis tweak???

Hey Geek,

Ya know I was thinking about your wondering problem...Im thinking it had something to do with the binding in your rear pod from those links. My car was doing a little of that, but I have 2mm of side play in my rear axle which after reading this thread was prob making my car wonder at med speed. Now under high speed my car tracked ,like at the end of the straight my car very solid. Under acceleration it went staight, so im guessing it was the play in the rear axle.

You are probably right Scott...

When I talked to John this morning I ordered another proper pivot instead of that "jury rigged" one I came up with

I too went through my entire car threadlocking metal to metal and CA'ing metal to plastic.

nice setup sheet

I used it as a template and made it editable, email me if you want to check it out. I still need to figure the best way to mark the traction compound for the tires though.

I am looking to buy a CK3.2 and wondered what bits I will need on top of the car purchase to be able to set it up for different tracks.
I am guessing that alternate springs would be required but which ones ?
There are two venues near me - One is small tight and carpet , The other is more open and flowing on asphalt ( indoor )

We now have an official importer in the UK who uses the correct exchange rate rather than 1GBP = 1USD so the price of the car and the spare parts are now cheap.

Any advise for building and setting up the CK3.2 when it arrives would be welcome.
