gearing help needed
I know this has been asked a thousand times before nut after multiple searches I couldnt find am answer that fits my circumstance.
Anyway I'm setting up for mod tc will be running a tc6.1 with tekin 7.5 what is a good starting point for gearing? The kit comes with a 48p 87t spur but with the max 35t pinion that's like 6.4 FDR seems really off I thought 3.5-4 FDR was the magic number. Should I switch to 64 pitch gears or is around 6fdr what I'm looking for with this motor and running maybe some boost? Any help appreciated.
