Default ceramic bearings

Just a question to see what the consensus is, but are ceramic bearings worth it, or are the stock bearings just as good in my FK05, in terms or reliability, durability and performance.

I would not go for them, I spent $200NZD to get ceramics for my Yokomo BD, I don't really think it is worth it, can't notice much difference at all.

I don't own an xray but having seen them perform, i would say let your current bearings die on you first, then change to ceramics. having good ceramics such as ones boca, will certainly leave you impressed. better than steel in all aspects except for keeping out dirt for sure in my opinion.

I run the Bocca bearings in my FK05 and love them eventhough they still get dirty where I race.If money is not a problem then I'd say yes if you are tight on money then wait as stated before.

My recommendation would be to do a search. There are very many (and I meany very many) threads on this topic that have been written about.
Bottom line is yes, a good set of ceramics is worth it and NO, you will not necessarily see a performance increase with ceramic bearings.
