If it's in a six cell touring car with good cells you'll probably be around mid 20's(mabe not with a stock reedy though) but with a higher rpm motor like a monster or roar stock.......and low to mid 40's with a pretty low wind mod

Just go to gearchart.com
There you can enter in all the info and it will calculate speed for you.
You will need to know the rpm of the EP motor you are using.

If your used to a nitro car of almost any kind.......you could probably handle a 10 turn no problem....especially if your just playing around(not serious racing).... and if it's to fast..... just practice throttle control....... on the down side, mod motors need more rutine maintenence to keep them running strong.......

My Pro2 at the HPI Challenge in Austin averaged 33 with a Banzai stock motor. Although I don't think it was right, because gearchart.com says the topspeed should be 33, with a Reedy MVP in both my Pro4 and Pro2.

And if it was that fast with a stock motor, imagine how fast it would be with an 8 turn...

The average would be faster, maybe. But the track software was prolly not set up right when you were racing which is why it seems fast

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Hobbytown set up all their equipment, but I don't think they had the race where they normally do. But it was still helpful to put your average speed against other racers, so it wasn't entirely useless.
