...And one more post for a while.... is there some sort of brush serration tool that you can re serrate old brushes and use them again? Im on a tight budget or i would already have a good lathe and a stock pile of brushes and springs

ok cool... and is it right for me to assume that the blue piece gets bolted to the motor and the cutting bit part is like a pinion and run it on just a few cells or low speed with the brush getting cut against it?

Mark- as a matter of fact, hardly anyone here, including myslef has bought any yet. We are all waiting for the pro versions. I did put one on my dyno, and play with it, but it wasn't that great.
I have a robi, so I can't accurately compare numbers, I was just basing it on what Big Jim and other ppl on that thread have said. My P2K was about 10 percent better than the P2K2 I tested...I am surprised they aren't better...Maybe the pro's will be

I use a Pro Tech charger that has current variable control. I set the timer for a few minutes and adjust the current for low RPM's.

Undergearing STock Motors - Bad?
Hello,
Is it very bad to run a motor undergeared? Will it kill the motor? When I come back with one pack I can touch the heatsink for perhaps 2 seconds before it becomes unbearable. I guess that should be the correct gearing huh?

Reedy Rage 24 motors
So, what does everyone think of these motors? I managed to pick up a couple of them pretty cheap, and am thinking about dropping one into my TC3 and one into my RC-10B3, any thoughts? Currently, I run a Spitfire stock in the TC3 for stock class racing, and it's getting a little tired....

ZXT,
I think they're just too old. Save your money and buy something more up to date.

I wish I had one of Big Jim's checkpoint motors, but that was way back when I wasn't getting goodies from the USA.
I've got a Jr's Choice motor from the JRX2 Pro-formance LWB kit(Thats almost the way it was spelt, "Proformanance" on one side), a Reedy "Blue dot" from the '89 off road worlds(it won the last final) and there should be a Revtech "Express" lurking there in the dust...along with 1200SCR's, SCE's and Panasonic P170's.
