I personally like the Core's.If its tight and you want trinity find a good P2K.
The Core's simply have ALOT better magnets in them and a nice motor overall.Great for offroad but for smaller tight tracks I really like them in onroad.Great pull from the corners and good all around speed.Just doesnt have the top end like the Monsters for those fast flowing tracks.

What would you gear a Core at for a track{onroad}thats pretty tight in the infield but has an 80 -90 foot straight?I here you on the monsters.Just have no experience with the core motors or any other recent stocks except the Monster. My monsters are pretty fast but I definately could use more squirt in the infield.

Default how

i was racing at an area track on sat. and while i was in the B-main, the A-main guys(some sponsored), where running 3 seconds fast, and i was running clean, there motors looked like mods, but they weren't. What are the secrets of these guys, to get a stock goin so fast. Is it just springs and brushes?

Could be the way they set up their motors.... also could be the setup on their cars also. And some of the pros I've seen run so clean the they run the same line around the track time after time.

If their sponsored guys there are a few things. Driving skill, sponsored guys are sponsored becuase they are good, really good. I'm not saying your a bad driver so please don't take it that way, just they are probabely better. Batteries, if your not up to date, they probabely are. Motors, some motors are good and some arn't as good. Even when properly set-up and tuned some motors will never be as good as others.

The motor and batt's isn't the only thing that makes them fast, they probabely hit all the lines consistantely lap after lap and have cars that are tuned extremely well. My only advise would be to practice, as much as possible. Someone with more driving skill and lesser equipment can beat someone with less skill and better equipment anyday of the week. If you have the best equipment and the skill to weild it then your set.

My carpet track is about the same size. There are fast and slow sections 7.0-7.3 final drive is a good place to start.

Pro 3 racer... we ran with you at Road Rage this Sat. We ( Brad, Brian, Nick, Jim and Steve) all ran Monsters with about a 1.0 rollout. It isnt really about motors, its about getting your car to roll through the corners with out scrubbing off speed. You should talk to the faster guys about setup... as long as your rollout is about right its all driving and setup.
