I'm new to the hobby. So I have many questions:
1. What do i need to clean a stock motor?
2. How and what do I clean?
I have a P2K Pro motor. Any tips or step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need a can of motor spray. Take the motor appart, and spray everything down. Replace the brushes after every 4-15 runs. If you don't have a lathe, get one, or get someone else to true the comm for you. Also, break the motor in at 3 volts for a few minutes whenever you true the comm or replace the brushes.

Buy a fibreglass comm cleaning stick. Use it after every run.

I put in a different brand armature into a motor cam the other day, yet it ran backwards. Would it be safe if I just switch the wire, black goes to + and red is with - side ? Or perhaps I turn it 180 deg ?

You have the endbell reversed. Turn the endbell 180 degrees and the motor will rotate correctly.

I have a Tamiya motor which I got from a friend...its quite fast.
I dont know how many turns it has but I think its around 19-23...considerably faster around 30 percent from any stock rebuildables...like if I put the motor on the same car with stock rebuildables and race...it will be at the end of the 60 foot race while the other is only at the 40 feet mark...can u picture my comparison?
Also it has timing adjustment....has anyone experienced this motor? Thanks

Now I cant take motor out of my RS4 Sport because of the pinion...

The pinion puller I have is a 'C' shape with an opening only large enough to fit the shank of the pinion through it. Then there is a knob like screw that is used to push the armature shaft from the pinion.
Here is another type of puller sold by sears.

It sucks that you'll have to buy this tool you may only use once or twice for this purpose.
