Default hpi sprint 2 69 camaro

the other day at the local track I broke my tc4 and I decided to buy an hpi sprint 2 with the 69 Camaro body with the vta tires. at my local track we run a version on a class that basically you have to have vta body and tires but you choice of motor and esc...anyways im wondering what upgrades I should do to this car, cheap mods, or anything that is a common problem with these car. a few other guys at the track have the same car and haven't broken anything yet. any thoughts on the car as well would be appreciated.

check out the Sprint 2 silk purse/sows ear thread. lots of good info and tips in there. definitely want to fix the steering slop if you plan on racing.
