If I had some I'd try it out tomorrow but for now I'll just stick with the tire tweak.

Guys I used SXT for the first time today...we used it on 4 different cars all using sorex 36 tyres on concrete.First we used it as instructed by Paul Wynn
from P Dub...applied it 30min before race time with another application just before I raced,It worked well but not as good as expected. This could be because of other additives still in the tyres. Then we tried cooking it on with tyre warmers..much better. We all agreed that cooking it and adding another application just before race time worked really good. The temp was cold 11degrees up to 21 and remember this was on concrete. We will try on tarmac next week.

Hi Paul....Yeh suprising...When Surican came out here the control tyre was Sorex 36...the temp was 5degrees!!!!!!!!!! everyone got the 36s working but he was mind blowing...into the first corner( nearly a hairpin) on full noise, braking at the last second and no slide or rear end slide!!!!
This is were I learned about cooking additive on with tyre warmers and reapplying as needed. It goes to show Sorex 36s can be used in a wide range of temps....good as a control tyre....especially using the right additve.
Having said all that we are experiancing a bad batch of 36s at the moment...a couple of runs and they blister of fall apart!!!!!Have you guys had any problems?
Bob

Bob....... glad you got it working. I am not sure if PDUB knew how cold it was down there. I am sure either of us would have recommended baking it and such. Good to know that it is working out on concrete. Never raced on that.........
