Things are headed towards a return of the SWT Series, but for
2017 the focus will be on the Encino Velodrome (and dirt oval racing)

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the lack of links, I'm new to the forum, so I was unable to post up a link to the page.

We're glad to see everyone playing the guessing game on the third class. Can't say much, but I can say it will be a 1/10 scale 4WD on-road class.

The event unfortunately will not involve VTA, Mini, or F1. Once the theme of the event is revealed, I think you guys will have a better understanding of why would they don't fit with in with this event.

Also there will be a video debuted in early March unveiling the series, March is not when the event will take place. The actual race will happen later this year, so there will be plenty of test and tune time!

USCRC named Mcallister as one of the series sponsors on thier FB page. So the new class is...

Daytona Prototype
http://www.mcallisterracing.com/index_files/Page592.htm

Just like the United Sports Car Challenge (USCC)
USGT - GT
LM-1 - P2
DP - DP

I'm guessing all classes running at the same time, endurance style racing?

I think a series where the cars all run together would be fun, seat them by qualifying order and do overall victor as well as individual class winners.

A Daytona class would be cool but now that needs it's own unique rules. I'd say stick with WGT cars, they are in the realm of LM-1's.

similar, but still way different than LM1.

I personally think some, if not most, of the WGT bodies look more like smushed Lemans cars. Then you add the cutdown foams and they cars start to look even stranger.
