Thanks again for the kind words Guys..... .....Hi Tony, I zapped both of your motors and there pretty much ready to go for tomorrow ......Raving-monkey, for right now we'll just be concentrating on the hand building and tuning of stock and 19 turn motors...we'll see what the future holds .......as far as Dyno numbers....as many of you already know, you can't really compare dyno numbers even with the same exact brand of dyno...so rather than to just blurt out some random numbers that we get on our dynos, and don't really relate to much else.....I'll explain our process a little bit.....We use one turbo dyno 45 for the tuning of our stock motors, and another turbo dyno 45 for the tuning of our 19 turn motors, I know this isn't completely nesessary ,But I just prefer to keep things seperate......through lots of trial and error over the years on the track with tuning the best possible couple motors for stock, and the best possible couple motors for 19turn (ones that consistantly ran the best on the track and/or made A mains at several big events).....dyno'd them several times with rebuilds inbetween for consistancy.... from that point we strive to tune for those numbers that each of those motors hit at their prime "most importantly" (on our dyno's)........ anything on our dyno that we use for stock motors (monsters)over 124 to 128 watts @ 28 amps is a screamer on the track...... very rarely something comes along that has out of the ordinary exceptional machine winds that will pull 135 watts @ 28 amps on ours .......Joe Buttacavoli

would you consider getting them BRCA legal (i don't know the process for doing this.....not sure who and how you do it)?
Not sure for BRCA, but here in the states (ROAR) most OEM tuned motors can be legalized simply by removing the sticker as it then becomes the original manufacture i.e. trinity, Reedy, Orion etc etc....Always loop holes

There is no need to remove a sticker from a stock to make it ROAR legal.....ROAR approves the teardown, not the sticker. The ID marks are on the arm (the tag) and stamped on the endbell....the sticker is pointless...

As for BRCA, they legalize stuff by the sticker....so every tuned version of a monster stock needs to be approved.....just changing the stickers colors requires the motor to re-approved.

BRCA Ruling is

50+ motors must be brought over
must be freely available on the open market
then a sample sent to the `busy` man he strips it down measure`s
wire dia,wire length,stak length & other bit`s & pieces

sticker lable is for identification purpose at big meets,
referee can instanly look at the can & see the design & colour & reconize it from the list
if colour or wording changes then it has to be resubmitted(even if the motor underneath is the same)

unlike 3300,3700 batts any colour, any lable, any matcher`s `name` it can be used with out submitting them

Must say this setup works over here
The only time 27t class was being under mined was when Epic started to do short stacks which made them illegal ,not known till they were measured at track, these stack`s appeared in all 3 Epic motors
BRCA layed the cards on the line & told Epic to buckle up & toe the line
(about 1-2yr ago)

Jason,

Good luck man on the new venture.

Glad to see your using the best equipment

BTW I'm still loving my BMI TC3's, but I'll soon be running something else BMI related

Thanks man for the quality work.

BTW what are the chances that you will produce that BMI tc4 motor mount in at least limited quantities. They look sweet I'd really like to get some.

Thanks

I have to second what Jay said about the Thunder R/C magnet zapper(Tempest's 2000's magnet zapper) nothing but the best looking highest quality parts .. the unit is worth every penny and then some
