Fixed

There are currently 52 drivers registered. Once the 70 driver count is reached, that's it.

I am trying to keep things comfortable in the pits for everyone instead of monetary selfishness and packing you in like sardines.

Please keep this in mind when signing up . I had numerous unpaid empty spots last year from folks who signed up and then did not show, but "had to get in".

Refunds for paid cancellations will ONLY be done for cancellations at least 2 weeks prior to the event date.

I didn't see a way to pay when I signed up or I would have. Most people do the PayPal. I also don't have a problem with calling you and paying over the phone. Wouldn't be a bad idea to give people who signed up until X date to pay or their spot opens up or something.

Is it April yet?!??! I can't wait.

Default USGT Tripple Amains Discussion...

This is the third round for the VTA/USGT series. The series was started with VTA being run with triple A-mains. But USGT was run as a single A-main in Nashville and triple in Fort Wayne. I would like to see triple A-mains USGT, but do we have time? I am a local, with only an hour drive home. I do know there are bunch of people coming with a much more significant trek home. Do we have time for two more mains? What does the group want? EWhiteside obviously will have the final directive. Discuss...

If I remember correctly the USGT race in Nashville was only 1 6 minute race as vs the 8 it should have been. For sure I would want it to be at least 1 8 min long race like the rules say. I am all for the triples in USGT. I want to "race" as much as I when I make the long trips. Yes the drive back sucks, but I rather not have 1 race decide the outcome. So an extra 30 minutes tops for 2 x 8min races isn't that bad. I vote triples just as long as the tiebreaker used is correct. 3rd time's a charm! Right?

From what I have heard the local hotels close to the track are not that great. (Unless something changed I am not aware of.) I have always just stayed in Gurnee, IL. Takes about 15-20 min to get to the track from there and lots of choices so hotel cost is good.
