If thats true I need to hook up with a nitro guy who uses a similar compound as I do on elec carpet. We split the cost of the tire 70 him/ 30 me and when they're "trash" at 57 mm they'll be perfect for me!! j/k I dont imagine any of the nitro compunds would work all that well indoors

The trick is to find the right combination of front and rears. I spent a ton of money (I had it to spend then) last year trying out a lot of combinations and came up with 40s 26mm fronts and 35s 30mm rears on my Xray FK. With the new FK05 being lighter at the rear, I'm going to try using 35s 26mm fronts on the rear next week. Even though I really don't think they will provide enough rear grip with the skinny width, I have an old pair from last years testing that I'm going to sauce up and try.
I was told that using Nitro Shoes on my Xray wouldn't work by some on the forum here last year. But me being the hard headed (or maybe determined) individual that I am, I spent the money to test them anyway.
Everyone laughed at me last year for having the "pretty" car with the 5 spoke rims (I truly dislike the dish look), and now those same people are asking me questions about my setup.

The rubber for rear nitro tires is the same as the rubber for carpet tires. The front rubber is different.

The current 1/10 oval tires are also reduced in price. No compound changes.
The 2-stage electric sedan tires are still in the development stages. We are getting good results in stock, but need to improve the performance in mod a bit. The sedan wheels are still dish, but are a little softer for durability. When we do the 2 stage sedan tires we will only offer 1 or 2 front compounds and 1 or 2 rear compounds. They will be the same color codes we use now. Just like the 1/12 2-stage tires where we only offer double pink rears and purple and double pink fronts. We are trying to keep things simple (for the consumer AND us!).

We have shipped to distributors already so have your hobby shop check with their distributor of choice. I see you are in Ohio. I believe Halo Hobbies has them in stock now so you may want to check there.
