Mr. Bill has it all wrong. People have to buy tires anyways, and these are readily available so why is it such a big deal.. Not to mention they ran the tires last year when no one could really get them. Doesn't make sense to me.

completely wrong, everybody ran them on their touring cars, including drivers sponsored by TRC and parma.

and 99% of the CRC drivers did use the older single stage tires, except for me, and i TQ'ed by how much...? oh yea! 7 seconds...

Of course we will continue to produce donuts. That is how we make tires! We just aren't going to package them and sell them under our name. We will sell them OEM and bulk like always.

Exactly. Selective rule enforcement. All tires are "laminated". That is how we achieve the correct width. The rubber is only about 1" wide so you must glue sheets together to make ALL tires. Every foam tire made is like this. ROAR's intent was to prevent adding a "coating or additional laminate" to the running surface, thus altering the adhesion characteristics of the foam. Any other interpretation renders all foam tires illegal, which is absurd.

I think we should start banning the really good drivers from races that way it will be a more equal playing field...There skills are an unfair advantage.
