Default New to Forum & RC car's been 20 + years since I had

A RC car believe it was super champ & the Beatle one

So excuse me if this is in wrong place
I've been flying helis / multi & planes for some time
Now but suddenly got the itch to get in to cars

So my 1st purchase Serpent GTe 1/8
And now the questions
If any one can help it would be great
I've already gotten myself
Futaba FPKS-r
But in need of servo and esc / motor combo
Any advice would be very much appreciated

The Serpent GT is a great car! Good choice!

I really like savox servos in the bigger scales so long as you have a decent esc capable of putting out a good stable BEC. I used the Tekin RX8 Gen2 esc and T8 motors. That esc has the ability to run the BEC at 7.4v and so the brown out issues people talk about with savox servos is not an issue.

Other esc options include hobbywing however I think the Tekin is far superior.

Yes so far people are telling me Tekin
But after looking there are a couple different options available
Plus a bunch for pre sale RSX GeN2 6.5/8.5/2.5
