Tires were different than any other Jaco i've run in the last few years. Tire wear was awesome and there was no traction rolling for any but the F1 cars. The supply will be plentiful in the near future for the conversations that we had with BSR. I cant wait to try them out locally.

well I ordered some jacos a while ago through great planes, they said they would be here about a month before the birds started, still have yet to arrive, so maybe here shortly they will, a buddy of mine also has gotten me a few sets from the birds looking forward to testing them, both of them

There any word on if pricing will remain the same for Jaco products?

Reason I ask is that with BSR now controlling pretty much all the US foam tires, I am curious if the lack of competition will drive up prices for 1/12 and WGT foams.

Happy to hear the Jaco Blues are coming back though, and it sounds like the new plastic mold is great!

Yes they were the newer version. Zero traction rolls that I saw at the race and after a full week of racing on my ONE Set they still show signs of the seams on them. They require some setup tweaks but they were dialed! Just look at the lap times on how much faster we went this year. We ran the same motors and batteries this year as last year (I literally ran the exact same motor that I won with last year!).

Pricing on the Jaco 12th scale tires will be increased and be in line with the rest of the industry. The prices they were selling for were simply too low as they were just selling them all direct. They will now go back through normal distribution chains like the BSR does and CRC does. BSR isnt going to raise the price of their tires but probably just make the Jaco's where they should have been to begin with.

I have 2 new sets left over from the Mile high race last April. They are still in baggies and tagged for tech. I had hoped to use them for practice this year but I won't be able to make it. I'll sell them for $20 per set if someone is interested.

The new Jacos are out now. I just seen 30+ sets at rchobbies in chapel hill, Tennessee. Theyare also MSA Distributors. They told me they came in last week, so everyone should be seeing them anytime now.

A bit of thread resurrection I know but.... I'm trying to source some Jaco Blues for our club racing.

Has anyone ordered recently from either TQ or Tower and can confirm that the blues they have are the latest compound variation, the "old skewl or new/good" blues?

Unfortunately I'm under a time constraint which somewhat limits were I can order from.

Thanks,

Mike Slaughter

New blues have a "blue" header card instead of orange

Tracks are encouraged to call BSR/Jaco and get an account set up. Awesomatix USA also has new jacos now
