I heard that one guy hit the other guy over the back with a metal folding chair...and then at some point someone jumped off the drivers' stand and body slammed them and then suplexed them both.

The match was then decided when one opponent placed the other in the "scissors of death" leg hold and was counted out by the observing ref!

the x-rays of andreas and viktor were pretty good in the wet. but jilles had some technicals probs with the elctronics for example. it was not the cars fault.

but if the race would have been dry some finals would have looked a bit different. steen and jilles were definetely some of the fastet guys, as ronald völker was in the c main...21 laps in every final without any training on the track before.

Unfortunately this doesn’t put it all into perspective. Most of the fast times set in the A-finals were done in the 3rd final in which Teemu didn’t run. Myberg followed by Teemu did however have the fast laps in the first 2 A-finals

To Finish first, first you must finish!!!!!

And that is exactly what Teemu did....may not have turned the fastest laps but he did what he needed to do.....HE WON!

Job well done Teemu!...I knew you would be hard to beat after seeing you at the Nordics...

Congrats again and see you soon,

Barry

Barry, you are definatly right. Finishing is of course the most important thing. And Timo didn't just finish, but drove excellent and extremely fast. He was just unbeatable in any condition (in my opinion). Does that mean he had no competition? I don't think so, just look at the dry times of Sunday.....

Everybody has problems with their equipment once in a while. Sometimes your pinion gear comes loose, sometimes you may burn out your speedo, sometimes you may have interference and sometimes your servo wire may be damaged. At least one of these things has happened to any racer at one time in their racing carreer. (and their are a lot of other things you can think off). Some you could have prevented and others you just couldn't. But when at one race event in every almost all qualification heats you have something like this happen it sounds very harsh when somebody says "to finish first, you first have to finish" ;-)

I was there (to watch) and Finals day was a beautiful day but the rest of the event was bad because of the changing weather. You never had a consistent track for more than 10 minutes. Sometimes you could see the puddles and sometimes you just couldn't. Sometimes there were some dry spots and 5 minutes later it started raining very badly. And can you believe that about only one hour after the finish of the last A-main it started to rain badly again?

I have a beautiful picture of Marc's and Timo's (cars) in a tight battle which I will post later.

i am based in 2 places, the netherlands and texas. but please let us not talk about me. it was a wonderful sunday and a lot of drivers gave away a super show.... and what pelle did.... just WOW...

trying to overtake slower drivers through the pitlane at full modified speed.... twice !!!

the first time he got a slight bump and decided (i think) to do the tight pitlane but after the applause I think he did it again to please the crowd!..

these are the things i like and make me understand that i won't be ever more then a club racer ;-)
