It seems he was at technical inspections for tire control before and they spent too much time on that. At least thatīs what could be read at the German forum with some SMS from the track.
But after a start from 10th place he could finish on 3rd and had the best car on the track.
After the noice that happened during rain and the additictive used the organization decided that all tires should be checked prior entering the track. Tires should be dry and if any addictive were used it should be one from a list (ie lrp, gm, trinity etc). Marc's tires wasn't dry and the countdown started he wasn't allowed to start from the grid and he started from the pits.
He drove excellent and managed to finish 3rd as already mentioned

Teemu's car was much better than Marc's. Marc although drove very well (as always) couldn't keep Teemu and eventually Teemu would overtake. Andy Moore drove very well too, like David Spachett but he was unlucky and cought up on a crach at the 3rd final

We were lucky that Sunday was sunny and we enjoy a wonderfull race.

My friend has a small video from the incident were it seems that Anders is over a car and someone goes over him and both fall on the cars! It wasn't intentionall from Anders point of view.

Yes you have to be registered to view the Hi-Res pictures but by clicking on the thumbnails you can still view the pics in a good size (768x512).

Just go to:
http://www.e-image.dk/
->31.07.05 MRC - European Championship
->then just click a thumbnail

Hope this helps. The site is in Danish btw, not German

Where on earth have I said that it was Anders Myrbergs foult, it was him that did fall on Steen Graversens car after he was pushed!! by Steen Graversens mechanich who also was band from the Euros

I did talk to Steen on the phone on saterday and sunday, and a case has allways 2 sides, and for Steen's mechanic it looked like Mr Myrberg was checking Steen's tires for now so famus "ski wax" aditive and he run out on the track get Mr Myrberg away from Steen's car

But some thing must have happend since both was baned form the euros

But maybe Mr Myrberg can give us his version so both sides have told thier story

When I arrived at the track, the pits were closed for spectators. Major bummer at first, but after borrowing a VIP card from a friend (don't tell anyone...), here's the best pics below. Sorry, only links to avoid clogging up the forum. Enjoy

No points for guessing who the main sponsor was...:

And since they sponsored the event, here's an Xray XB8:

The forecast promised us rain, rain and more rain. Here what we got... :

Hupo Hönigl having a laugh:

LRP's motorguru was there with the latest batch of factory motors. Look at the new blue endbells:

Can anyone give me more info about this (homemade?) rubber tire "truer"?

One of the new Yokomo's:

Oscar wondering about something. It's worth noting that he was very helpful to all the drivers asking him questions. He even helped approaching spectators with ideas on how to tune their own V2's

Sorry about the language mixup...

The site just won't "work" for me... Moving the cursor over the thumbnail gives a text box with information on the picture -- clicking does nothing at all... Clicking on the number under the picture does nothing at all... Must be something with my browser (IE 6.0)...

Thanks for trying to help...
