I gotta say, it's nice to see a track where mod is seconds faster than 17.5, not just tenths..

IFMAR needs a rule that cancels worlds if someone wins pre-worlds by more than a lap and just hands them the title. It would save companies the trouble of a return trip.

There have been problems with previous batches of these tires, but the newest batch has had much better qc. The owner of Hot Race is at the race and we've been switching any old sets of tires out for a new set. Racers have been very happy with the new tires.

Question:

With a event as big as the worlds and a track this large, why is the starting lineup still at 10 cars? The 10 cars per main goes back to before 2.4ghz radios. With the talent of drivers at the worlds, I would think 12 to 15 cars per main would be possible.

It goes back even further, back to the days we hand counted and could only use the 10 keys available. Off road has gone to larger fields when the track would allow. On road should follow suit when the track has the space for more. Heck, we ran 20 car mains on the velodrome back in the early 90's. 12 or 14 should be easy on a track that size.

Do the math 13 to 14 sec laps alot can happen when there is to many cars on the track
1 car stuffing it can cause a 4 car pile up
