Don't just focus on the a sort. B sort had some super fast times thrown down. If you picked the runs from mains day for a resort you might be surprised...

We run Sorex in the UK on tracks twice that size, with speeds over 80mph on the straight, and minimal problems. Reading Christian's post about buying 16 sets of tyres and half of them being crap makes me quite happy to stick to racing within the UK

There's not an issue with spec tyres, speeds, heat, car design or any of that. They've just chosen a poor quality tyre.

I didn't see a single tyre issue at Heemsteade 2 years ago, at either the warm up or the race, and that's a pretty large track also. Doesn't sound like the same will be true for this year - based on what's posted on this thread and also the text messages that I've had over the last coupld of days.

What an Event. I want to thanks to all the Full Throttle crew. For a Nitro guy this was definitely something different for sure. I can not tell you how many times I was forgetting about pre-tech or bringing my wheel wrench or even wheel nuts, lol

Still had fun and learned a lot. Maybe next time I will buy enough tires to actually run the entire event at full speed. Wow, I did not realize how big a difference that makes.

Thanks again to George and his crew.

Also to Capricorn, Capricorn America, Rino and Junior for all their support this weekend.

Why do they not have open tire? They have it for 1/12, so why not TC too?

I see that from the videos now. I think alot of racers used this event for testing only and by the end of the day were just as fst as most of the A main drivers. Get ready to see a few Associated 6.2s and them 4wd pan cars,,,, I mean Awsomatix cars in the A main at the real event.
