Default Team Tekin Battery Doctor 8.0 discharge tray

Hey Everyone I am just trying to spread the word about the new Battery discharge tray from Tekin. It will be called the Battery Doctor 8.0. It is all electronic discharging for accuracy. No ceramic resistors. 1-8 cells, and it is not polarized. It will discharge your batteries down to .5 volts and keep it there. It will be available in 5-6 weeks. You can see it at www.teamtekin.com

I saw them on Tower's website for 49.95. The artwork on the tray will be the same, but the pc board itself will be red, not blue.

You can always dead short the cells after they are done discharging.

A small production order was completed, and shipped. More are on the way. These trays rock. You can deep discharge your batts of you want which is nice.

Any specifications? Tekin's website doesn't give you any.

1-8 cells, 2.5 amp discharge rate, .5 Volt cutoff, and the best part its non polarized. Also there is an LED to show how far that cell is along in the discharge. I want to say they would sell for 50 street price.

got mine at the vegas race. they worked awesome.. These trays work extremely well with the new 3800's due to the fact they dont bring the pack down past .5v per cell.

I have already fried 2 packs with my Novak "Not So" Smart Tray so this looks interested. Although I will say I'm not a fan of the 2 additional slots (7 & 8) as they would never be used by 6 pack racers. Kind of anal about neatness.
