Default help setting up brushless and m11...please

first things first, thanks for reading, now on to my question ( iknow this was sorta asked in the rookie section) but i am not getting any breaking or "slowdown" when i lift off the throttle on my car. it just coasts for ages. i have gotten a new esc, a new motor, and even a new m11 and still the same problem. i have set the drag brake to full and every thing else like epa and exp with no notice of braking.i am running a trf415 with a m11 and a novak 5800 brushless +novak esc. does anyone have ANY help or input that will help me get some sort of slow down/braking?
i am sorry for asking this twice but i am at witts end right now and driving is no fun not being able to slow down/stop.

thanks in advance for any help or info and thanks for taking the time to read this plea!
