Default whats after touring stock?

Hi there,

Im currently racing in touring stock, And im looking at buying a new car (electric obviously).
Whats a good step up? Im happy keeping my touring car stock because in nz its more of a social class. Looking foer something a bit more competitive. I was thinking maybe pro12 (1/12th pan)?

If so whats a good chassis thats not too expesive but parts are still readily available?

Seems to me that it really depends on what the locals are into, around here 1/12 has maybe one car running in with whatever class it fits best. F1 seems to be popular atm while the m-chassis has officially died after being popular.
