Default Xo-1 roller worth it?

I keep seeing Xo-1 rollers for ~$150-200 and am tempted to pick one up.

My question: would it be worth it? I'm not interested in racing on-road. It would be just for fun. Something I slowly build up on the side. I just don't want it to be one of those things I drive a couple times, then get immediately bored of it. Do your xo-1's hold your interest? I can't ever see myself paying the new box price for that thing, but for a fairly cheap roller that I can piece together as I go, I'm tempted.

My last on-road car was a nitro 4tek. It's been a while! The idea of a 100 mph RC excites me, but I'd like to hear from xo-1 owners to see what you think.

Im interested in knowing how often you can take advantage of 100mph with this car. What's the range on these?

I have 2 XO-1's and love them. But, I am a speed freak so they hold my interest well. I also have a JConcepts Scalpel bodied XO-1. I shortened up the chassis to fit the body. I have yet to find the perfect place to run them, but will not part with them. In my opinion, a roller for $150-200 is definitely worth it. If you're not into high speed then maybe it's not the car for you. Just depends on what you want.

Also, you can find the Castle Xl2 esc for between $150-160 on ebay. That's pretty good considering the stock esc goes for upwards of $130.
