Default Status of 1/18th on-road racing in your area

In our area a lot of people seam to have played around with 1/18th and like their cars but regular scheduled 1/18th racing programs have failed to catch on. As far as I can tell of the 5 weekly on road race programs in the state, only one (a hobby store parking lot) venue has a 1/18 class heat as part of their program and last time I checked they grouped together mini-t,stock m-18,rc18t, mambo/lipo graphite chassis m-18 cars all running on the same track layout as 1/10.

I know their are tracks and programs that specialise in 1/18 scale, I am just wondering how common these are in proportion to 1/10 electric programs?

Bonus Question-Any ball park guess as to the following percentages nation wide

Number of race entries as percent of total entries in organized (scheduled, using timing system, open to public) RC Car,Buggy and Truck Racing
On ROad

1/10 Electric Touring Car
1/10 nitro Touring Car
1/12 electric
1/8 nitro on road

1/8 nitro Buggy
1/10 2wd Buggy
1/10 4wd Buggy
1/10 4wd Truck

other 1/18th on road? 1/18 off road, mini-z/x-mod,pan car, Formula1?
In otherwords if 100 or so people showed up to race either at a regular track or a race set up in a parking lot by a club or Hobby Store in your metro area; how many of them would show up with a 4wd nitro Truck and how many with a 1/10 electric touring car, etc.

Also, how have these percentages been changing.
