World Championships
 

Just wondering who has won the 2nd most number of these championships. I know that Masami Hirosaka has the most with 14 and was wondering who is the next best driver out there in terms of world championships.

If i know it right Masami should be the only driver that was able to defend his title....

Lambarto Collari? I remember he got something like five to six 1/8 on-road wins?

Masami has most world titles. However, all of them are in offroad or 1/12 onroad. He has never won the worlds in ISTC(International Scale Touring Car).

Former ISTC world championship winners are:

1998 David Spashett (World Cup) - Team Losi
2000 Atsushi Hara - Yokomo
2002 Surikarn Chaidejsurija - Tamiya
2004 Marc Rheinard - Tamiya
