Default Speedmerchant bad customer service?

I thought I saw this in a thread while I was searching but couldn't find it again. I placed an order on the 23rd, Contacted him over that weekend and heard back saying it would be sent Tuesday the 30th. haven't seen my stuff and didn't respond to any of my latest emails. Is this typical for that guy/company?

Bruce is a stand up guy and will make it right....eventually. Most guys I know stopped running his stuff due to VERY slow delivery. But I don't know anyone who actually got screwed by him and never received product.

Bruce, Joel, etc are stand up guys. Delayed shipping does not a bad company make. Give them a second and Im sure it will get sorted out.

I've been ordering parts from speed merchant for years, Never had any problems with shipping delays. Both Bruce and Joel have been great to do business with.

Got it sorted out and got the tracking info last night, now if it gets dropped off at the post office is a different story . I disagree about delayed shipping though. If its not going to go out in a couple of days tell the customer. If you are going to say its going out one day and it still hasn't gone out 10 days later there is an issue.

Echoing the sentiment that Bruce is a stand-up guy.

I know it is an old thread - but I've just run into this problem now - anyone happen to have a contact number for Bruce? Sick of my emails not getting replied to, but don't want to go the PayPal refund route quite yet.

Ditto here, placed an order 3 weeks ago, not received any shipment note yet... Once earlier an priority mail from sm took an month to arive; tracking said it got stuck somewhere outside sm. Usually priority mail from sm come within 10 days.
