i think he is more technical know how than A finalist, it works in VBC's favour as i believe this guy is the manager of huge rc track in thailand..if so, the signing makes sense

Default WORLDS WARM UP

I figured now would be a good time to bring this thread back alive, giving the circumstances

With all that has changed over the past few months and the Worlds Warm Up kicking off this should make things little interesting

I'm not going to bet against Rheinhart or Volker. One thing you learn though it its anyone's game... And by anyone I mean any world-beating pro who can make the A.

Correct. Get to the A, then don't crash in the first main would be the aim of many. Do that and you are in with a chance!

I agree on your favourites too. Rheinard has won in Florida before (his first) but he has been unhappy with his car. Volker has been driving really, really well and the BD7 seems to his liking.

Be interesting to see how the warm up goes, and if tamiya have the 418 sorted for the mod guys yet. They will learn a lot from this coming event though and have plenty of time to sort the chassis (or let someone else fix it ala Raceberry and the 417!)

Hmm, I don't think Rheinard will be on the podium. He's not happy with the 418 and his attitude gives the impression of someone who isn't positive enough mentally to win.

Perhaps a better question would be which manufactures will make the A final at the warmup and at the worlds?

How the car performs this coming race on Ashphalt will be a big pointer I think. He will either be grinning from ear to ear or throw his toys out the pram in a big way!

Most of his running with it has been on carpet (and without a support pit crew), never the strong suit of any TRF4XX AFAIK.

I think Freddy S and his awesomatix will be in the A main mix. The car has been doing some things at some of the biggest events in the US.
