Equating the huge "internet" to this specific forum is a big leap. Its kinda like saying that we should allow strippers to perform in an actual church because its located on earth.

The problem is that people like TeamGP see an pornstar, that abused alkohol and drugs, got divorced and married again if they look at Pamela Anderson for example.
A child will see a blond woman in a short skirt.....

Good turn around. 9 out of 10.

But I'll have to decline that offer.

If I'm not mistaken you can select to hide avatars in you control panel. That would keep material that you consider offensive from being veiwed. As for inapropriate avatars, doesnt matter to me. If I'm looking to see some skin I know of places to see that. But I don't mind seeing a pretty girl every now and then.

Marcel, did you just do that to be a prick? Come on now... This is a source for RC-related information, and I don't expect to see half-naked women here. I have no problem with Porn being on the Internet, HOWEVER, and here is where I draw a line -- I don't want suggestive things mixed up with my everyday stuff. You or anyone else can go look at whatever sites you want, naughty or tame. However, on this forum, it's not appropriate.

Hey guys,

Yes, it is an official rule that we don't want any sexually explicit or suggestive avatars or images. However, when I upgraded the forum software it elimianted a hack I had written that displayed the rules at the top of each forum, and as such, there is no "official" rules list at the moment.

When anybody finds an avatar, post, or anything else that they find offensive, I encourage them to let me know and in most cases I will ask the user nicely to remove it. About half the time they comply, and the other half they tell me to F off in email and I have to argue with them about it.

Honestly, I don't see why that stuff is offensive. However, I respect everybody here and I want to make this a family-friendly place, so I will continue to police these things as best I can. The bottom line is, this isn't a forum about sex or chicks or whatever else, and everybody should be able to talk about RC just fine without half-naked girls in their avatars.

Mr. Randy, it is too late, suggestive stuff is already mixed up with everyday stuff. You can't leave the house without finding suggestive stuff and you can't walk the earth with blinders on.
