Uh...that isn't exactly what I meant...but if you want to take it as that that's fine by me... I won't take offence to it...

I am a parent of 2 boys and I see nothing wrong the avatars.... My eldest son is 6 and he has a lot of curiosity about a womand body, as he should... It is my job as a responsible parent to teach my kids and not shelter them.... Our kids see more nudity on TV.... I find nothing wrong with the human body, clothes are a man made object as is shame.... I know my eldest gets into my palyboy's and good for him, I stole my fathers when I was a kid....

I guess this photo is offensive, you can tell my wife it is because she was the one who handed my kids to them for the picture....

Im glad things like that dont offend me, and I definatly dont want my son or grandsons to see it as offensive, sexuality is a fact of life and shouldnt be confused with abuse or downgrading of women, instead of shielding kids from things they are gonna see anyway you need to teach them the difference between right and wrong........

I know what you meant.

Just thought I'd turn it around and see if you would notice.

Lol, I was just about to say. You go to Import car shows like HIN (Hot Import Nights) You have the sexy cars and to go with them the exotic models. I mean honestly, would you want a really really ugly chick showing cars? I dont think so. Even at R/C Races some models wear tight mini skirts and a small t shirt to adverstise. Your not going to look at a fat lady with "Tamiya" on it as you would with a hot model.

My point about keeping people in line with the current forum rules has been made and the complaint is being processed in the correct manner. I would suggest that if you, vtl1180ny or anybody else would like to discuss your views on morality, then lets take it to another forum. If you would like the rules changed to suite your particular view on life, then I'd also suggest you make the request formally and not try to gain support from others by breaking the current rules.

I'm in agreement with the original poster. I don't subscribe to some of the RC Magazines out there, and have actually sent them letters, for "sexualizing" things in their mags. It's not appropriate to have those kinds of avatars on the forum.

My avatar is breaking the rules cause there a C3 vette is just as curvaceous and sexy as a woman!!!

The internet is no place for morality discussions.... Honestly, if you let your kids have free roam to surf at will you are the one's with problems....

There is an option not to view other people's avatars....

BTW, I'm not sure how the forum admins define "sexually-orientated", but I'll be sure to take the same action concerning other avatars with things such as womens breasts clearly showing through see through lingerie.

I'm in no way "picking" on anyone or trying to get into a personal fight. Its a matter of principal, order and decency that I'm not afraid to stand up and fight for in the correct manner using the rules and laws provided. If the majority can persuade the admins to allow these things, then fine. I'll move on and try other forums to try to provide to or get help from fellow RC enthusiasts.

But as long as the rules here are what they are today, then count me in all the way for this fight.

I'm not sure how else to help you understand that the issue is not focused on morality. Its focused on the current forum rules, which the powers that be thought to include morality in. If you don't like them, then try to get them changed or find another forum where their rules fit your lifestyle.

People do 10 over the speedlimit everyday and don't get tickets. So by your thinking, does that mean that we can all sell drugs to kids and loot whatever we want?

Neither of the avatars contained full frontal nudity. One pic was a cartoon in motion and the other was a human being checking for breast cancer.

You found two avatars out of the above mentioned Members, Threads and Post, that you find offensive, and if you had never pointed them out....I may never have noticed them. In the world today all it takes is one person to complain about anything that they find "unmoral" or "pornographic" and they expect "the powers that be" to change everything for them. Get off your soap box and read the post that interest you and don't stare at the avatars. This is my opinion.
