Default Airtronics MX-3 and RX compatibility

I own an Airtronics 27Mhz radio and I would like to buy another RX for my offroad cars, I would prefer to buy the smaller RX which comes ith the M8 or the M11 but I'm not sureif it's compatible with my TX, I'm also afraid of glitching.
Thank you very much.
