Default TC3 gearing question

I have NTC3 that I just converted to an electric. I have 12t Titan motor from a slash I'm putting on it. I was wondering what final gear ratio I need for that setup it has a 54 tooth spur gear that is 32 pitch on it now. What size pinion would be good for that spur gear. I was thinking 18t. But I am new to this.

I can't help with your exact question but I hate to see threads go unanswered. All I can suggest is try it out. Personally, I think that sounds about perfect. I run 28t 48p in mine and the physical pinion sizes are the same I believe. I don't know about the spur, but should be good to try. Just monitor temps as always.
