I never used drag brake when using that ESC in a mod TC - didn't seem necessary. The Mod software will allow very limited amounts of boost; if you want to use more, you'd have to load a firmware designed for stock, and be very careful with the amount of boost added by the ESC.

The mod firmware for Hobbywing has limits on the amount Of boost/turbo to prevent you from wrecking the ESC when using low turn motors.

Use the stock firmware instead to gain higher boost/turbo capabilities. Also, I always ran 15% drag brake on that ESC, but we have a technical carpet track. I'm not sure what kind you run on.

I had the same problem a while ago. Recalibrated the esc and everything is fine now. I'm running 14% of drag brake now.

Thanks for the info . But what software gives more fine adjustment on drag brakes? This profile only allows for 5 ,10 ,15........... I have it set to 5 and it still wants to stop on a dime. Other than that im happy with it .
We run at thunder rc in nash and always run the national level race layouts on the 2011 iic rug
