Oh yeah, for everyone that is going out and going to try a spool. You'll find that a spool with your one-way setup will be terrible. Your laps will get slower and you'll just hate how it drives. It takes a few weeks of learing to brake into the corners and get the car to be "free" midcorner. Please me patient and try to find a good setup with alot of turn in. It might take a few days of practice, but eventually your lap times will fall and you'll be able to overtake other cars in parts of the track that were previously too tight to pass.

What general suspension setup do you have when running a spool? springs, camber, etc.

General setups are usually, more vertical shocks. Low degree of castor. 100% EPA or close to 100 so that the left and right turning bias is equal. Then about 95% Dual-Rate. Don't go 100%, b/c then you can't make adjustments during the race. A shorter wheelbase or move the wing closer to the front of the body. Possibly lighter oil.
