Cool Tamiya Golf CS "1981"

HI!... I picked this one up a few weeks ago. Needs to be restored. No body but I can get one from TBG. I think the decals and the plastic front bumper are going to be the hardest to find. And I need to find another driver's support bracket.

Tamiya did re-release the golf in a mini M-05 version, perhaps jou can go that route as it will be the best choice in my opinion.

HI!.. Not even a option IMO. This is vintage, and will stay vintage. Once it's fully restored it will be worth much more than a M-05 and will increase in worth as time goes by. This is a collectable now. Not a racer.

You want the car to be vintage but you prefer a TBG body over a correct tamiya body?
Sorry for trying to help you out.

HI!... The TBG body is actually made from a mold pulled off the original Tamiya body so they are identical. Most of the time I prefer their bodies as they are better quality than the original. Plus $25 vs over $250 for a fragile will crack if you look at it wrong original body. Been there, done that. I don't see how you were helping me out.......
