what are the little wires for ? do i hook them for to the charging leads ?

Per the GFX manual...

The small leads from the TURBO35 GFX are voltage sensing leads. They are used mainly for the discharge or cycle modes to get an accurate voltage
measurement. With the increased resolution of the TURBO35 GFX, it is important that you remember to connect these leads; this will ensure that
you get all the accuracy which the TURBO35 GFX can deliver. Connect them directly to the battery pack while observing correct polarity. Voltage sensing
is also done thru the heavy current carrying leads but will give slight voltage errors especially with heavy charge or discharge current. The slight
error, however, doesn’t affect the charging of the battery.

Read the instructions again...They are for discharging and cycling (which includes discharging). Don't have anything to do with the charging aspect.

I have mine neatly bundled up. Don't even use them for discharging unless I am looking to log readings of battery performance.

You must clip them to the battery for the highest accuracy if you connect them to the clips you will be reading the reduced voltage due to the voltage dropt through the crocodile clips which can be up to .2V on heavy discharging.

How do you like your GFX? I'm thinking about buying one and want some opinions.

At the track, I have the GFX, a Bulldog X3 and a CE 23A power supply. I keep a Reedy Quasar Pro (AC/DC) in reserve for times times when I don't care to (or need to) bring out all the CE equipment.

I consider GFX to be the best overall charger/discharger/cycler; however, when it comes to being at the track, I would say that a couple of LRPs or ICEs with the CE power supply is a really really nice setup too.

The Ce gfx is a good charger one of the top 3 out and will run any motors for break-in but I would have to say if you really want to know what your batteries are up to…………get a Pro-Trak or a Futaba cdr5000. I used CE chargers from the turbo 30, stealth and the gfx, the discharge/ cycling feature on these has never been very accurate for me. I use mine for breaking in motors now. Just what I need a 400.00 motor checker.
