Default Gear Ratio 13.5 T blinky mode

Usually, I am running 17.5 T where the maximum gear ratio is limited to 5.00.

Any recommendation what gear ratio I should use for 13.5 T in blinky mode
on carpet (DHI Cup Denmark)?

Thx

Olaf

4.5? Wow. We have a reasonable sized flowing track at my club and we gear our 13.5s about 3.5. I guess for a more start/stop technical track u would have to gear down but that seems a lot.

Big flowing tracks are rare in the US , and most racers here rarely use 3.5fdr even for a 17.5t motor...

I get confused now. The LRP user manual recommends a starting point of 6.0:1 and I got an info that the top 30 italian drivers in that class use a gear ratio of 4.7:1.

I tested 4.5:1 yesterday on a technical carpet track and the motor was not even warm, it was cold after 5 minutes.

Cool

On a midsize carpet track, I run 3.94fdr in my tc4 , but I don't recommend it in a belt Car....
